Law Day 2012

Law Day was established by Presidential Proclamation in 1958 and is observed on May 1st throughout the United States. The theme for Pennsylvania’s 2012 celebration is “I Have a Dream…,” celebrating the American heritage of liberty, justice and equality. The theme for the American Bar Association’s 2012 celebration is “No Court, No Justice, No Freedom,” underscoring the importance of the courts and their role in insuring access to justice for all Americans. This year, York County will incorporate and celebrate both themes during the 2012 Law Day festivities.
